Incredibly pointless and yet awesome idea.

Can we assign different avatars to different forums that we're posting in?

Maybe have a drop-down list of file names to choose from and maybe have a limit of 3 or 4 avatars to choose from? That way we could avoid offensive avatars being used in improper forums, or some shit.

I just want to have a special Pub-friendly and yet appropriate avatar.

I'll wait and see what other people think, but my initial reaction is it's a lot of extra work for a feature almost nobody would use.

stupid idea.. a lot of members are just as easily recognized by their avatar as they are their username.

although it would be cool to have my avatar be a fat piece of shit just while i browse OTD.

Anno, it's not like anyone would expect you to code it, you're too busy making sure there's no threads made in OTD that mention your name that you don't know about.

Anyway, this was really meant as a joke.  I wouldn't ever expect anyone to take it seriously, but it's pretty cool that Ythan gave it a consideration.  Thank you for that.  :stoned:

All I really wanted to do was photoshop a gas mask on my avatar and use it when I was in the Pub.  I hate patchouli and BO.

I think it would be awesome to have Spud kissing boys in OTD, a Stealie in teh Pube, and Krusty basing moonrocks in ODD.
