While i was reading little shroom's thread about worthless posts in OTD i had an idea... how about an option for a post to expire after a certain amount of time? Let's say I make a thread that I know is basically pointless and aimed towards getting replys from the immediate people that are online at the time. I type up my post, check a box for my thread to expire in, oh... 6 hours, and six hours later when my thread has made its way down the list it finally deletes itself. That way people that aren't on all the time don't have to go through all the bs threads when they want to see what's been going on.
Yeah... good idea Smack! and how about if you set a thread to expire and for some reason it actually spawned some good conversation, you can go edit your original post and uncheck the 'expire' option so that the thread doesn't delete itself.
