My viels are breaking, Help Me PLease

This is the coolest hobby.

This is my first grow and I have viels breaking. So here comes the questions.

My brf/cakes have mostly 3in. shrooms with half dollar sized caps. All of those shrooms viels broke this afternoon while I was at work.
But, I also have some skinny 1in. shrooms growing on the same cake and there viels havent broke.

Its kinda late to be doing a spore print, I wasnt prepared for this to happen so quickly. Will they be fine until morning or will I have a mess of spores in the FC? And how do I go about harvesting tomarrow, if theres shrooms that havent broke viels yet? Just pick the ones that have or what? Not sure on how Im going to dunk and roll. I would like for these little ones to grow up alittle before yanking them with the big ones. (Note: vails broke on the large ones this afternoon sometime). Can I wait till tomarrow morning without a mess?

Any and all comments would greatly help. I'm so exited and affraid I'm going to screw something up.

Yes. And a mess isn't the end of the world, just makes them dark. Having spores in my FC never really bothered me.

Pick them as they're ready. When the last ones mature and are picked, wait a couple of days, and then dunk. Repeat.

Ah, yeah, sorry, misread the original post I guess. There was some tek or another a while ago that used to warn against picking individual shrooms without harvesting the whole cake. That's nonsense in my book, and I haven't heard anyone reputable to go by it. RR, on the other hand, is most reputable, and is quite right that you can pick them whenever you think they're ready.

My main concern is, I cant get a sporeprint (from the big shrooms) if the spores are on the bottom of my FC. Not the mess that I'm worried about. I wanted a sporeprint from my 1st big shroom ever grown (sentimental value)!! Will it still have spores tomarrow morning?
And can anyone answer my other questions? Thank You Much.

Why are you waiting for tomorrow morning? Take the print now.

If you can't take it now, why worry? You'll find out tommorrow!

Basically: it depends on how far along it is, whether the cap has inverted yet, etc.

I would wait until tomorrow. Wait until it's actively dropping spores to harvest if you want a good clean print. They drop spores for a couple of days, not just a few hours.

Ok, I cut the cap off and have it under a shotglass on tinfoil, Do I need to do anything else to get the spores to drop (or just wait).

Also, can I leave that stem on my cake without a cap, until I harvest in the morning?

You can harvest it now, or you can leave it. It's not going to rot before morning. I don't see why you'd leave it on, though. Harvest them when they're ready, like the man said, or else they spooge on your fruiting chamber overnight.
