sound production at college?

I'm considering taking a course in Sound production later this year at college.

Has anyone here done this at college/Uni?

I don't know if it will be worth it, if there aren't many job opportunities in the field? I dont know about what that industry is like though...

I'm talking in U.K not U.S.

Go for it. Take a class or two. Talk to the teachers about who they know and who's hiring. Teachers and profs are always a good source of info, cause they know people in the field.

i was thinking about saving up for this as well, but now im just going to learn reason on my own. i'm thinking you would have slim chances getting a career right after college, unless you are a natural. this is something i would do for myself. who knows, it would be worth it if you could make a career out of it.
