Things every Canadian(and yankee) should know!

This is something to be proud of and something every Canadian needs to
know....Just for the record.

1. Smarties
2. Crispy Crunch, Coffee Crisp
3. The size of our footballs fields and one less down
4. Baseball is Canadian
5. Lacrosse is Canadian
6. Hockey is Canadian
7. Basketball is Canadian
8. Apple pie is Canadian
9. Mr. Dress-up kicks Mr. Rogers ass
10. Tim Hortons kicks Dunkin' Donuts' ass
11. In the war of 1812, started by America, Canadians pushed the Americans
back...past their 'White House'. Then we burned it...and most of Washington,
under the command of William Lyon McKenzie King who was insane and hammered
all the time. We got bored because they ran away, so we came home and
partied...Go figure..
12. Canada has the largest French population that never surrendered to
Germany.
13. We have the largest English population that never ever surrendered or
withdrew during any war to anyone. anywhere. EVER.
14. Our civil war was fought in a bar and it lasted a little over an hour.
15. The only person who was arrested in our civil war was an American
mercenary, who slept in and missed the whole thing... but showed up just in

zambonis, the telephone and short wave radios that save countless lives each
year.
22. We ALL have frozen our tongues to something metal and lived to tell
about it.
23. A Canadian invented Superman.
24. We have coloured money.
25. Our beer advertisements kick ass
BUT MOST IMPORTANT!
26. The handles on our beer cases are big enough to fit your hands with
mitts on .OOOoohhhhh Canada!!
27. And we don't bomb our allies.
28. oh yeah... and our elections only take one day.



I love number 11 the most because I just heard that after years of excluding it from American History, they are now rewriting that whole thing as a "canadian invasion" :lol:

BC buds suck at least the ones that get exported to the states. Try some homegrown local hydroponic weed or organic indoor/outdoor it tastes and smells and looks actually like weed not dog food. I hate the beasters their a fuckin plague and people selling them for the same price as good local weed is just outrageous I prefer good old smashed in with a hydraulic press Mexican weed to beasters for the what you get for your money.

PS. A confession to make I'm half French Canadian and I hate it lol! I want to be a real red blooded American goddammit. Why did my mom have to be born in Quebec for christ sakes? At least she renounced her citizenship when she became a U.S. citizen. Have fun freezing your balls of up there guys and come visit me in S. FL during the winter like you usually do. And BTW your beer sucks compared to our imported German beers!

It wasn't Canadians who fought in the War of 1812, it was the British (a major world power at the time). Just so you know. :tongue:

I bet almost every single of those british people stayed in canada, thus in my eyes, are canadian.  At that time, almost every person in north america was british or descendants of the brits probably :tongue:

Fact is...the people from the south tried to invade the people of the north.  We retaliated and chased them back, burning down their whitehouse in the process.

And like I said, recently the U.S. is now trying to say that it was a Canadian invasion.  So if they are going to proclaim in the history they teach that "canada" invaded them, I have no problem saying canada actually kicked the shit out of the yanks in retaliation to THEIR invasion :wink:

ToiletDuk already mentioned it but it wasnt the Canadians who burned the white house it was the British. There wasnt even a Canada in 1812 as Canada wasnt a nation until 1867. Thats 55 years after the British burned the white house... And Canada didnt even get full sovereignty until the 1980s.


But thats OK, Canada is still alright in my book.

like I said, I don't know how accurate all those were.

But if any of those people were BORN in canada, that makes them canadians, regardless of where they relocated and when.


and in my eyes, almost all those british people stayed and in my eyes that's a canadian :tongue:
