The survey of 2,069 adults aged 16 or over was conducted for Blenheim Palace to mark the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Blenheim.

The study raised new questions about the teaching of history after  it found that 11 per cent of the British population believed Hitler did not exist and 9 per cent said Winston Churchill was fictional. A further 33 per cent believed Mussolini was not a real historical figure.

I bet when they asked the survery questions the where things like

"Do you believe the battle of Helms Deep happened"

May be the interviewee didnt know that the battle of helms deep was from the lord of the rings movie. And they were just thinking it sounded like a name of a battle that could of happen.

Those interviewers could make the survery come out anyway they wanted just by wording the question different.

the problem is wehn you only do something 99% of the time, you create a gap between 100% and 99% where a little voice can come in your head and convince you that its the 1% time you dont have to do it
thus canadians should commit 100% to clubbing seals, then it becomes nonnegotiable, case closed, over and out
