I have experimented with this method using freebase NN-DMT and have found it very very effective. In fact in many ways better than the normal ( and very modern ) method of smoking DMT. I would like to say at this point, that I'm shure that some methods of synthesising freebase DMT may end up with a type of DMT which may harm your sinuses, depending on which solvents where used in its manufacture and how pure and refined the DMT is. However, bare in mind that compared to Cocaine, Speed etc the very small amount like-1/16 gram of DMT should not present a big risk. However to be ultra-ultra safe I suggest trying a very small amount first, to check there is no major reaction. However in saying all this I have had no problems with my particular type of DMT. Obviously it is not a pleasant feeling, but remember the traditional snuffs when taken also give the user much pain.

The reason DMT doesn't work without and MAOI when taking it orally is because there is some organ in the gut or something with stops it from entering the bloodstream. The MAOI makes this organ stop functioning so then the DMT can enter the blood stream from the stomach. The DMT can enter the bloodstream through the lungs because that organ isn't there stopping it, so why shouldn't the same apply through the nose?

Edit: You snorted DMT in freebase right? Would the burn lessen if it was in salt form?
