Narconon is a Scientology run drug rehab center. It works from Scientology practices and beliefs.
I know someone who went to Narconon for 2 months. That was 5 years ago, and he has been clean since..... oh also, he didnt have to pay one cent for it.

Scientology thinks drugs are bad.... mmmkay.

I dont get it..... where is your smoking gun?

Short answer, they think drug use is bad. Illegal drugs and prescribed ones. Don't try to lie your way out of this one. I have not only read it but I was told by one of their eager little helpers that they could "cleanse the memories" of my LSD experiences to "help me." There is a thread here about it. Look it up. Next time I go downtown I'll bring my camera.

Well that about sums scientology up for me.

Mushrooms taught me more in two hours than any book, website, person, or religion ever did in my whole life. It wasn't until using mushrooms that I got a true sense of who I am. Everyone in my family will agree that I have changed significatly and I can tell you it was directly from mushrooms. And then why I found LSD it blew my mind away for weeks off one dose. I was mystified. Everytime I eat psychedelics I always see the raw essence of life and what it is all about.

Any group that says these things can't be magnificant is full of shit.

what claims have I made?

I live right by a rich city, and they have a scientologist center there.  So one day my friends and I were walking by and decided for them to do their little test on us, possibly called auditing.  They have you hold these two metalish things connected to a meter and have you think of a traumatic experience in your life.  The meter is supposed to go up because you have, as he put it, negative energy in your brain and the meter recognizes that. :whatever: So anyways I sat down, and tried the thing.  Now since I am an electrical engineer, I knew immediately how this little machine worked and so started to fuck with the guy.  I told him a really sad story that actually happened to me, but the whole time I caused the meter to keep going down and down.  So he had me think of something happy at which point the meter went up.  He was so confused he got head guy of the place who got angry with me and instructed me to hold the metal things at a constant force.  At which point I told him exactly how the machine works, so he  got angry and started telling his disciples that I a person who cant accept the truth or some shit.  I talked to a disciple afterwards who said that he makes about 25K a year and drops a decent amount on this religion.  When I asked why he said because it seems to be the only true religion, his proof was that some people can fly and have magic powers.  OF course he said hes never seen it, but hes sure it existed.  After that I left and havent ever even bothered to give a scientologist any respect as I view them literally as idiots.

I doubt they said cleanse the memories, that would go against Scientology beliefs.
I have said many times, in many other threads that I dont agree with Scientology in regards to psychedelics.

and what exactly is so evil and shocking about a religion wanting you to not use drugs?
