as much as i hate scientology and want to clown on them, this stuff sounds like standard 70's/80's easy listening and isnt all that much worse than any christian music out at the time.

it's fluff, it really didnt do shit other than tell us that scientology has their
own religious music that spans a few genres, the song at the start of the video
has a bit of appeal, I would have liked to hear more but they really didnt play
shit other than a couple of bars of any given thing

I get mail from the scientologists, did you know you can buy your own personal
e-meter for only $5000, you can get an exclusive version for $50,000 and can buy
the books associated with it, all the books would run you around $250k

I read dianetics, I filled out the survey card and got a response for coming in to
be audited, I went down, held the e-meter cans and answered the questions they
asked. for about 3 years afterward they sent me mail to come get audited again. 30
years later and they've started sending me more mail. they just built a new
scientology center in atlanta. it's fucking nice


seriously, read dianetic, it breaks down the foundation of the religion and even
teaches you all about brainwashing. buy a used copy though

Did you get to the pop part Pris? The jazz n stuff was not bad but the pop was insane.

Yeah it's dumb but the concept of Scientology is way more dumb. *Scientology first comes out* So you know that science fiction writer L Ron Hubbard? Well he's starting a religion!

For the length of the video they have a decent amount of good info. I didn't even know scientology had music so I learned a lot from it honestly.

The guy in the video said some of the albums are incredibly rare on the internet so I bet he played what he could :shrug:

if you read dianetics he goes into detail about Xenu the galactic overlord
bringing all these people to earth on rockets that looked like DC9s, dropping
them into a volcano and dropping a hydrogen bomb on them, then their 'spirits'
being herded into a movie theater to watch horror films whe's they're released
they 'attach' themselves as 'thetans' to other people and are responsible for
all of out misery

you dint have to buy anything from the church of scientology to get a grasp on
how hokey this shit is, I men hubbards imagination was limited enough that these
space ships looked like a common airplane of the day, that they used hydrogen
bombs, theaters and volcanoes to kill people and make them 'evil' entities

dianetics explains it well, the reason it's one of the best selling books in
history is because scientologist buy the books and take them back to be
redistributed to book stores as new books

8 seconds of a song really doesnt give you any real idea of what they're singing

bout, like when they focus on the one kid that 'hammers' the notes, I mean 3
minutes of him carrying the note with 3 words being sang. what was that
particular song about, what was it trying to convey. the song at the intro
started to get interesting when they cut it short
