Non-mushroom specific compost for spawn running...

whats up guys,
i need a little advice. i've never used non-mushroom compost before and i was just wondering what needed to be done to it before spawn running. (pasteurization, supplementation, etc.)

oh yeah one more thing. the type of compost i'm planning to use is called Nutribrew. it is supposedly grain based and and the pH, N content, and a few other parameters are pretty close to those found in Stamets' The Mushroom Cultivator.

Grain based, and what else is in it?

Im guessing you'll still have to pasturize, spawn it, and incubate etc...
