Legality of the cultivation of mushrooms?

At what point during the cultivation of magical magical mushrooms does the process become illegal? I would think right after inoculation but id like to know for sure... My roomates being a bitch.

Spores are legal. Mycelium is not. But what cop do you think is going to recognize mycelium for what it really is? As soon as mycelium is formed it contains minute amounts of psilocybin. hence illegal.

I'd be really sketched out buying someone off for their secrecy. They'd obviously rat on you in a heart beat if it would improve their situation. My advice is to find somewhere else to do it. your first mistake was letting someone who isn't down with it, know what you're doing. Just trying to look out for you guys.

I wouldnt want you risking my safety, security and freedom as well as
killing lots of opportunities for the remainder of my life by growing something
that was illegal from the time mycelium germinates, sometimes it's illegal just
possessing the spores and grain in the same house, depends a lot on you and your

Your walking on thin ice, getting busted for growing shrooms is a felony. I would either move your grow op to somewhere else or stop entirely.

Definitely wouldn't try buying them out. Fortunately my friend's roommates were cool about him growing mushrooms, and were quite interested in the whole project. He also has an interest in growing mj and poppies, but knows they are a little easier to detect and doesn't want to put his roommates at risk.

If they aren't cool with it, wait until you live somewhere alone or with people that don't mind the project.

Sorry guys, but this isn't a cultivation question. The safest thing to do is only grow edibles of course, and since all my neighbors have seen me repeatedly carrying bales of straw inside, I make sure to give them plenty of oysters and shiitake, etc.

Remember, ex-roommates are often enemies.
