There are tiny white dots all over the 50/50 + casing with coir.

Are these promordia or pins?

How long from primordia to pins to full grown fruit?

What should the Relative humidity be at this stage?

Primordia.

This happens fast. Give it 3-4 days.

Now it should still be very high(~100%), but when the pins are a few milimeters high, cut it back to around 80-85%.

I had already cut the RH back to 80 - 85% a couple of days ago.
I'll just bump it back up to 95% or greater.

Did I hurt them?

Also, is direct light from a flourescent ok for this species?

Is it OK to mist the primordia directly?

You didnt hurt them too bad. They just have a couple of scrapes tho.

Try not to mist directly. This is the time were you shouldnt be misting them very healvily. If you really need to mist, mist from above pretty far and mist upwards in the air lightly.

It has been 16 days since applying casing.
A little to thick. Hence the delay in reaping the fruits.

Primordia... Primordia Primordia

So where are the pins???

It does not appear as though the primordia is getting any larger.
There is some light brown color on the tips of some of the Primordia.
Still very small though 1-2 mm.
Anything to help this situation or just let it go...

If you can see brown tips, then they are pins.

Watch them grow fast over the next few days.
Make sure you give themn plenty of air exchange.

Things just don't seem to be progressing. It appears as though
the primordia is static. I can maybe see a tiny pin or two. but that is it. Hundreds of tiny white dot just sitting there. Is this the norm? It has been 6 days since the appearance of the first white dots on the casing, but still no mushrooms.
Temp = 73-77, RH = 80-85%, Fanning 6 times a day at least.

Does anyone know what could be wrong or how to get things moving along?

Keep the humidity up until you have small mushrooms, then just increase your temps slightly, and start fanning again.

Thanks Anno,

Yesterday the plastic tray that the casing is in was dircetly covered with a lid to
bump up the humidity to the near 100% level while still keeping it in the chamber. Fanning and misting twice a day and giving it direct flourescent light.
Get the feeling that I have a most stubborn Pan Trop. casing.
Hope to have fruit before contamination sets in.
