Well while I am doing my fav hobby today I thought I would try and share some of the music I am really digging as of late, and some old faves.

ENJOY!!!!!!

I am really getting into Modest Mouse these days, I have only heard "good news for people who like bad news" , but I'm hoping I like the rest of their albums just as much. HERE, have a listen.......

hummm... i LOVE this band, i found them by mistake a few years ago and fell in love!
i like their older stuff much more then the latest album (which is also great but not as great)

i connect with their lyrics in a very powerful way (maybe as powerful as i do with Dylan!)

have fun getting to know Modest Mouse, there's a lot to have fun with :tongue:
check out Ugly Casanova as well (it's a sort of side project i believe)

I downloaded Wolf Parade which is a band produced by the lead singer. I hope thats good as well. A friend claims I will like it. I have only heard Good news for people who like bad news, but tonight I am going to give the rest of Modest Mouse a spin. or play, I guess :smile:

Anyway, whats a good band then?? Tell me?

Personally I like the lyrics, and the music is unique, something I hear less and less of these days, and (elitist talk starts now) as a musician I think I can sniff out something unique with interesting timing better then most, and certainly better then the average bear, so they ARE a good band, you just don't know it.
So ha! :P

The earlier works of modest mouse are very good imo. What is it you don't like about it. The songwriting is awesome in my opinion. They have alot of depth and variation in most songs.

i like Tool mostly. so that makes me a cocksucker anyways when it comes to liking other music.  :shocked:
