The one thing that consistantly destroys friendship...

is when you put something between them that they both want and can't share.

A female.

This is the second time that one of my *friends* has completely disregarded me because they want what i am trying to have.

The first time; one of my best friends ever, who i never thought would do such a thing, tried stealing my girlfriend (we'd only been together 2 weeks) and i caught him touching up her ass etc etc.  But anyhow he was definately trying to have his way with her with a complete disregard of myself.

i would never even consider stealing a friends girlfriend, i thought it was something that you just don't do to good mates but now i'm realising that my friends are not as good as i thought.

This weekend, i'm chatting up a girl i really like which is fucking hard for me with my lack of confidence and the fact that all my friends are much better looking than i am (i'm not being defeatist this is just a fact that i'm aware of).

So, one of my very good friends comes over starts chatting her up and shes quickly lost all interest in me.  i can see shes really liking my friend by her body language etc

OK, i don't own people so i decide to let this go but then when ever i look over at my friend he gives me this fucking smug grin :smirk: and drops it everytime the female looks at him.  So i'm thinking 'god i want to punch this peice of shit now'.  So i asked him why he was pullin a face at me and he replies 'i'm better with women than you, i know what they want'.

Now at this point i wanted to beat the living shit out of him.  :mad2: As far as i'm concerned he just blew up years of good friendship by showing his true color in that situation.  i didn't hit him though because i don't want to look like a sad jealous bastard to everyone else.

Last time this shit happened to me everyone said pals before gals etc but i'm sick of it.  Fuck having friends if they are going to shit on you like that as soon as you're getting something they want.  Theres no point in having friends like that.  Theres no point in having friends.

People are fucking greedy and arrogant, as soon as you have something they want they do anything to get it.  They are not your friends, they're really your enemies with secret identities.

That one dude who punked you with that comment deserves his jaw broken. Friends steal tail from each other now and again, it happens, but gloating like that is bad vibes.


It sounds like this is something that effects you internally alot more than externally. The solution is to not go looking for chicks in bars or whatever with these people. Look up woman on your own when you will be alone and comfortable and not worrying about some backstabbing bud punking you or showing you up. Bars are terrible places to meet woman anyways--its all surface and vainity in that enviornment.


Some friends turn into assholes when it comes to picking up woman. If they are cool otherwise you know not to go scoping out woman with them but keep them as pals and write it off as hormones...girlfriends are a different matter, though.

Yeah, thats just it! i only got one friend who has passed and for him i am very glad else i'd be feeling very alone right now.

As for the rest of them - i just told em i don't want friends that play oneupmanship anymore.

sounds like his only interest was in showing you up. he doesn't sound like a friend to me, especially if he knows it's harder for you to meet women. that's just fucked up man. he cock blocked the shit out of you and you have a right to be pissed.

I can totally relate to this. I've had this kind of situation happen to me before too, and it sucked.

The problem was only really solved when the girl was out of our lives, or at least his for that matter. All that trust I had for my friends just went out the window after that, I guess

If your friends arent defending you or standing up for you there n ot your friends. And find some better woman, seriously if you have a gf that seems like she could be just grabbed and hit on like that...thats not a good gf.. Someone i used to conider a friend ( who is really a bastard at times, but no more than i) is currently dating my ex-girlfriend.

Last i heard from him his words were "If you ever talk to me or her ever again, or come to my house i will hunt you down and kill you"

what a dip shit.....
i was good friends with his roomates as well, so in effect he detroyed 3 friend ships that i had.

Normally i would just blow this off, but he's kinda nuts, once while coming down from eating about 5 pills (ecstasy) he went into his room and loaded his 20 gauge shotgun and had a 5 hour panic attack.....

luckily he did not pull the trigger.
