NEED HELP WITH MYCOBAG PINNING PROBLEM

Hello everyone,
Its been a long time since I've been around but I decided to get back into mushroom cultivation. I ordered a large amount of mycobags and injected them with puerto rican strain. They are fully colonized, completely extended with air, and also starting to blue. Unfortunately I have no pins. I have been giving them between 12-24 hours of light a day, natural and artificial. I NEED HELP. Please anyone who can give me some tips please. The mycelium is incredibly ryzomorphic. ANY TIPS? I'm desperate. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't keep the temp high enough while they were colonizing so there hasn't been any temp drop to trigger the pins.
Thanks everyone and I hope someone can give me some tips. I don't want to remove them from the bag because I've had great flushes previously when fruiting directly from the bag. The spores are from Sporeworks.

Never used mycobags but I made my own bags of hpoo and rye grain and let them fruit invitro a while back,The only advice I can give is wait, and wait, and wait and when you are done doing that wait 10 times longer. It is not an exaggeration to say that the took FOREVER,even after cutting the tops of and fanning them to increase Fae they still took forever.I swear they were fully colonized for nearly a month before I saw pins and half of them fell to some strange contamination that made them smell of ammonia,I will never use bags to fruit in,in my opinion they are only for making spawn and are a very poor choice to fruit in,Good luck to you

It would help to know what is inside the bags. If grains, you really should open the bag and place a casing layer on top, or use the grains to spawn to a bulk subsrate such as coir or straw, manure, etc. RR

The bags are grain-based mycobags from sporeworks, I have opened the bags and taped the tops in a sterilized environment. Also I just re-opened them, squeezed the air out and allowed fresh air back into the bags. They are now re-taped. Also the bags seem to have a half-inch vermiculate layer on top of the main substrate, I would think this would be similar to a casing layer. I will be posting some pics of the setup shortly.

Try cutting a couple of slits in the bag for air exchange. If covered with vermiculite, that's your casing layer. RR

The reason why I am hesitate to cut the bags open is due to the possible contam factor and the fact that the bags come with a patch for gas exchange. I have never had this problem before, could the spores be the problem? They took almost two months to colonize fully, usually it takes less than a month at most. I'll have pics shortly. Thanks everyone.

Colonizing mycelium needs gas exchange. Fruiting mycelium needs air exchange. There's a big difference in volume. RR

I understand the differences, but why am I having trouble with the bags fruiting now when I previously had no trouble whatsoever?

ive often seen sealed bags fruiting incredibly good though - from multispore inoculations.

How do the pics and setup look? Should I be expecting pins? Anything anyone can suggest?

Don't yell.
Your pictures are too small to tell anything. Post them so they enlarge when clicked. RR

Your code is just fucked. Edit the post and look over the UBB code you used for the images.

Its rather straight forard. Just upload bigger resized pictures to your shroomery account. Which you did. Go to your shroomery home page, click on "My pics"
Under each picture is a little box with text that next to it says code,
just copy and paste that into your post

If I were you Id open the bags and lay them in trays and case. You wont really have to worry about the contam factor because fully colonized substrate is pretty resistant to contamination. You should be able to case the tray and fruit in a rubbermaid. I think your problem is lack of FAE. How often do you open the bags to let fresh air in. I personally have never fruited invetro so I can comment on the method your trying to use.
