humidity/pinning problems

I can't get the RH in my terrarium above 92%, I've got 5 PFE Amazonian cakes in it. (I'm using perlite for humidification)
They've been in there for 9 days now, and with only one little shroom growing.
The temperature is also very low, about 70 F.
I'm using a computer fan for ventilation with a dust mask to prevent contams. (It's not running all the time, just 10 minutes 3-4 times a day.)
Do you think I should try to case the cakes (this is my first time) or should I wait longer for the pins?
My room is very dry, cause it very dry here in this season of the year.

my friend would case the cakes, he never got a cake to fruit (he is very impatient) so after a few days in the terr. he crumbled and cased with only verm. no contams through 3 flushes with the verm. not even being sterilized :-) so now that he got that out of the way on the first time, he has cased ever since.......
go for it!!!!

How much light do they have available to them? How long to you leave the fan on when exchanging the air?
As far as humidity goes, if you can see condensation on the top of your chamber and you keep the sides misted, than your humidity is fine.
Also, I don't advise casing them with unsterilized materials if you do decide to go that route. You want results, not contamination.
