I have done my reseach.. Ive spent many hours reading up on here =]
From what I've read B+ is a slow colonizer, but it already looks colonized and has been for a few days.. just hasnt started pinning and the pfs have. Thats why my question came up....
Im groing invitro because i need to keep the mushrooms concealed. Believe me i would way rather grow any other way but I cant.. And I dont want to pay 65$ for 3 grams of old shrooms off the street.

have you tried cold shock yet? from my experience it dosen't do too much diff, but maybe it will work for you, and do you have sufficient air exchange.
At time like this i feel lucky having my parents buying me all my supplies and my dad helped me build my terr. i guess they still think i'm a anti-drug person, which i am. But i guess theres nothing wrong with growing shitaki.

why do some people persist in trying to discourage others from growing ivitro ? there's nothing natural about cultivating mycellia in spawn bags or petri dishes or jars. invitro fruiting is just as 'natural' as a perlite-humidified rubbermaid full of pie-pan casings or a mc-box. and it does not 'damage' the shrooms, nor are they 'unhealthy' nor even 'unhappy'. so let folks grow the way they want, without hassling and brow-beating them with false info and new age tree hugging crapola, please.
as ar as the b+, it'll start pinning shortly, mine did around 21-25 days after inocuation, colonizing in the light. and if anyone wants to discuss invitro tek or anything else witout being subjected to harassment, come visit us at Mycotopia, link in my sig.

"witout being subjected to harassment" were to do see that in my post??? Your the one being an ass and harassing me.
Don't tell me it dosen't damage a mushroom, once grown it presses against the wall and when removing it blues(damages) the mushroom.
Plus i only asked him the q, I also gave him an answer to his post which you did not, all you accomplished with your post was making yourself seem like an ass. I believe i gave him accurate information regarding his question, unless you can disagree with the actual topic of the post?

i don't want to argue with you. i did address his question, you prolly missued that part. and i don't think he should have to justify or expain to you or anyone else 'why' he's growing invitro. it's his personal choice and not yours.

Ya I had B+ growing invitro (ryches strain) and they didn't pin shit after 4 weeks in the light. Then I cased and they didn't do shit as with all of my other attempts at casing B+. I say fuck B+ and stick with real cubensis. From my experience w/ B+ I have deduced that it has no will to live; every other strain of cubensis I have grown has done great.

no will to live... thats funny, we got several strains from ryche recently, the plantasia mysteries had no will to live for me, very slow, very little growth, high contams.a whole syringe and no jars made it past 25%.
yet my friend just got a HUGE first flush from these guys. his syringe was the same batch # as mine.
ill stick to my equadors and mexicubes.
i dont really trust ryche lately. i blame my bad luck on a LOW spore count.
