pinning problems

Hi everyone! I have some fully colonized pan trops I am trying to get to pin. I cased cow dung/vermiculite with EZ Peat (coco fiber) and the mycelum raced through it fully colonizing the casing in two days! It looked like some overlay had developed so I deep scratched the casing layer, misted it down, and then cold shocked it for a night in my garage (about 35-40 F) That was 2 days ago and again the mycelum has almost completely colonized the surface with no signs of pinning. I have a bubbler in the 10 gal tank with two pumps going to it circulating alot o air. What else can I do to try and get some piinning action?
Thanks!

you should wait a day after scratching for the mycellium to recover before cold shovcking. i would think scrtaching would break it all up then try to pin while cold but th eexcess myc in the scratched stuff would overgrow thecpins.
but im not sure.

Try dropping the humidity and stick a Halogen Lamp over the casing (Not to close.)
If you've got a vacum cleaner with a hose on it use that to suck out the CO2 three times a day.
I'm serious, the vacum cleaner will work. I use mine everyday.
Play music for the damned things, dance around the terrarium naked and chant to the Pagan Godess Hecate for assistance (Tell her I said "HI.") (Hey Kate) Moonstones and Obsidian are good. You could also try sacrificing one of your pets if you have them, but never a cat. If all that doesn't work, call Madam Cleo and ask her.
Hey man, here's hoping you get pins.
LOL!

Lots of dancing. My mushies like strippers, so I take them to Gold Club on wednesday nights.

I like strippers, I like strippers when I am tripping, the lights and movement on stage is really interesting when I am on a low level trip.
