Nesco Add a Tray, on the cheap? (not goodwill)

Anyone found any online stores for nesco add a trays for the FD-60, other then the nesco

I'm running out of room here.... got a grocery bag of wet shrooms, and only 4 trays to work with, ROFL
definatly need more before next round.

Why don't you use desicant and a rubermaid container w/ a fan?

Thats what I do and I get them dried in 18-24hrs.

Because I was drying several wet LBS of mushrooms and wondered if anyone had found any cheaper places other than thrift stores for trays.

I'm looking for a good deal on a dehydrator as well,I have been just using fans and it does work great for me but I wish It was a little faster because sometimes the really fat ones take days to dry

Bluts, spend the dosh on a dehydrator - I put it off for ages saying I was going to build one with a box and a fan, and construct my own trays etc. but in the end my lazy ass got the better of me and I bought one.

One of the best things I have got for this hobby, as I use if for fruit etc as well and its been worth i just for that.

i looked all over last week and the cheapest i could find was $12.95 + shipping.

im planning on buying 3 or so dehydrators from walmart and then taking them back after this grow is over. its like renting.... only free.

Yes I have been looking around and I know I will end up getting one soon,That and a magnetic stirrer are the only things I really want for this hobby at the moment,But I am addicted to collecting things for my grows so I'm sure it wont be long till I think of a bunch of more stuff that I want  :cool:

still pretty pricey anywhere you go...

if you buy them from Nesco, they charge you more for 4 trays than it would cost to buy a whole new unit that comes with 4 trays.

i have 3 units for a total of 12 trays.

A dehydrator, magnetic stirer, and pc are the best things i have bought in this hobby

I've been telling you guys for the past 4 or 5 years to go check your local 2nd hand stores!~


I have picked up brand new dehydrators that were never used...

for under $7.00


I have probably bought at least 20 or more over the years.

I have bought broken ones for less than a $1.00 just for the extra drying racks.

I have given several dehydrators away to fellow Shroomerites.


In my area we have The Goodwill, Salvation Army, St. Vincent Depaul, Value Village and a few other odd ball ones.

It seems like I always find one when I'm looking for one.


So check those 2nd hand stores!~

yea well the people in my town must not throw out dehydrators to goodwill, because i am a thrifty shopper, I even have people looking for key items for me... to no avail

I get nothing,

Me either Oatman. There's always the Ronco junker available, but nodda on the Nesco's or pc's worth buying. A bunch of junk round these parts.  :smile:
