hello all,
ok im ready to move to the terrarium.. i have a large sterlite tupperwear im using.
i have perlite on the bottom, some chicken wire on top of that, 2 jars on both ends of the chicken wire filled with a compound of h20/h2o2 , and 2 fish tank bubblers inside the jars.. now when i seal the lid im afraid that the moisture will collect at the top and drip onto the cakes.. i dont think thats a god thing, i was wondering ifthere was a way i could avoid that.. amy suggestoins would be great!
thanks

a drip sheild is in order .. see how to make a double chambered terrium.
I've theorize that if you are using a plstic cover, you could place a marble on top of the platic, creating a dent.... all the water on the underside would collet there and drip down in a predictable spot, in which you wouldn't pleace your cakes.

X,
Just set the cakes on tinfoil squares on the Perlite. I used a chicken wire and it corroded from the humidity. Don?t forget to add water to the perlite. Yep the drip shield is the way to go as the humidity will be much higher than in your incubator and will condense on the lid.
Looking good Bro! You?re on the right track.
Post some pics when you have it all together.

A thin sheet of plexiglass is common but clear polyethylene plastic film or Seran wrap attached to a frame should also work just make sure drips cant get through seams when using Seran wrap since it probably won't be wide enough in one pass.

Insulate the hood heavily and the condensate will form on the walls.
-------------------- Well...Maybe just a little.
