Now and Then - From LSD to XTC

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

in the 60's and 70's we had the LSD generation.  LSD was flooded everywhere.  Nowadays 80s 90s 00s (?) we have XTC flooded everywhere and very little LSD.

Now, i know about the issues with cid but i don't wanna talk about that.  i'm just thinking will we go down in history as the X generation?

Or i spose there was maybe something completely unique with the hippy scene?  Maybe now its just the new age of modern drug advance and the scene will evolve into chems that work better than X at producing states of euphoria? :gethigh:

It's pretty easy to find X and LSD in my area.  It's all about where you live.

i'm talking about what we will go down in history as.

its about the masses not the opinion of 1 person. There would of been plenty of people that hated LSD and didnt want there generation to be labelled as acid heads. But it happened, because it was such a huge movement.

i think maybe the 80's 90's will be the E generation and 2000's will be more of a designer drug / RC movement.

Hm, it's interesting to think about but I don't think E had enough of an impact on an ENTIRE generation to define that generation...especially in comparison to LSD.

LSD almost toppled the American government and the everyday life. It brought to light a whole new way of living and drastically changed people, as well as became a popular fashion (i.e. non hippies dressing oddly in attempts to mirror the counterculture). E did nothing even close to this...

So that's a big 'no' from me.

There is only one Generation X and that are those who were born around 1970 :smile:
The cause to this is that marketing people don't find a trait in them that they could idealize for their purpose :lol:

X has widespread influence now just like LSD used to. the difference is X has reached way further out of its original demographic than LSD did in its hayday. i know people of varying ages and occupations that do ecstacy on an almost regular bases. i dont mess with X pills but molly podwer has always had an allure to me and i do ingest from time to time. how can you resist 6 hours of blissed outness?
