spore print

How long after the cap opens up should wate to take a print?
Any help would be great. They are TC. cap is about the size of a quarter now.
They just broke the vail all the way around.

You need to wait a little longer. I generally do anyway. If you want maximum potency, then you pick right when the veil tears, but if your going for prints, wait for it to develop for another day and it should be about big enough. Thats just what I do. You could also pick right away and still get a spore print, but you will get more spores if you just leave it grow a little. Hope this helps.

I wait till they just start to flatten out ... My prints are black and huge that way...

They just flatten out now.. I will let you know how the print goes.
