San Pedro Syrup - does it go bad?

I know San Pedro syrup can ferment... unfortunately my friend who cooked our doses together has kept the boiled down syrup in the fridge instead of freezer for the last month and a half... Does anyone know if it will be bad or unbearable to drink at this point b/c of fermentation? Is it particularly dangerous if it has been fermented? Thanks! :shineon:

I wouldn't drink that... blech.

What you ought to do is use the syrup to do an acid/base extraction. 75% of the hard work is already done.

We actually have a lot of the materials... just waiting on a few pieces of glass to finish it up (namely a seperatory funnel and some other large flasks)... We were hoping to experience the cactus in all of its greatness without extracting, but at this point, i don't want to drink fermented cactus syrup and end up just either not being able to down it, or even worse, throwing it all up too soon and wasting it.

There was a video by "invader zim" on google video about mescaline extraction.... are you familiar with it? Do you have any personal favorite extraction teks that would be good to use w/ syrup as a start? I've read a lot of the popular ones on the net, seems easy enough... Thanks for the advice. :smile: :peace:

Yeah, Zim's tek is pretty rough but there isn't much to an A/B extraction anyway.

Search the shroomery for ekstaza's method. Many, many people have had very good results with it.
