The San Pedro Cacti Extravaganza

I heard San Pedro and Peruvian Torch are legal to own but illegal to consume  :lol: Anyone out there try any of these cacti after buying them from your local Home Depot and actually trip? If so, is the trip similar to a peyote trip? I would assume since they both are cacti and they both contain mescaline.

I was thinking about giving this a try as I heard cactus trips are not as hard as shroom/ lsd trips and are often more spiritual/insightful. :crazy2:

I think the peyote trip would be longer and ALOT more intense...

Of course peyote would be alot longer and intense...the cacti contains a higher concentration of mescaline. I have tried peruvian torch and I tell ya I felt like an indian when I had done it...I was more in touch with my surroundings and such. If you can handel strong visuals I would say give it a try its worth it.

oh I will :smile: I just made a thread in OTD called "Am I tripping?" and I'll be posting in there if I'm bored or if things start getting nuts. I lied tho, syrup's not ready yet, I'm evaporating all the excess water off it. :wink: It's taking forever.

Ya i'm definitely about to just pound a lot of it, I wasn't able to get the skin off without sacrificing the dark green meat so I just pureed everything. It made a bubbly frothy mixture, and I kept putting water in but I forgot the layers separate. :wtf: I'm stuck with a lot of somewhat-gooey water, but it doesn't stink and it certainly doesn't taste like shit, the three of us will just have to drink a liter or so each. When I filtered it through a cotton/poly shirt, the froth went down (I blame it on the blender) and I was able to continue without any problems..

It's my understanding that peyote contains other mescaline alkaloids, which is why the trip is different.

So how much San Pedro WOULD one mix into one of those delicious shakes, anyway? Got a blender, got some tequila, I think it might be time for me to mix some drinks.. hehhe

I have never heard of san pedro being more potent than peyote. The top 3 cacti that are commonly use are 1. Peyote 2. Peruvian torch 3. San perdro. Sure mescaline potentcy varies alot in cacti..but I think if there was a san pedro more potent than peyote I would consider that very rare.

There's only one mescaline alkaloid but about 60 plus other alkaloids in peyote, while there's only half a dozen in pedro/torch. There's a suggestion that all the extra alkaloids are why you're more likely to throw up with peyote.
