San Pedro Questions

I want to try San Pedro (mescaline) VERY badly. After doing shrooms countless times and just trying LSD for my first time last week I REALLY think I am ready to try it. I have a couple questions though.
-I am pretty sure some Pedro is growing near my house, but how can I properly identify it? (I've seen pics, but is there anything on the cacti that will make it a dead giveaway that it is pedro?)
-Is there anything in Pedro that is deadly? I have heard of people just grinding it up and putting it in gelcaps. Is this harmful at all? Is a extraction ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED?
-Is pedro sold at normal plant nurserys and if so are they sold at this time of the year?
Thanks.

I cant help with you with all your questions but no putting them in caps is not harmful and an extraction is not needed. Extracting the mescaline is just easier since there is less to worry about consuming. Some garden stores do sell san pedro but from what I have heard most of them do not label the type of cacti.

The best idea is to taste san pedro first. That's usually enough to kill most peoples interest in it.
Gelcaps work for some people but if you've ever dropped dried pedro into water and seen how it blows up and all the shit that comes off it and imagine that floating in your gut. If you're the least bit susceptible to nausea it's gonna make you feel like death for at least 2 days.
Pedro isn't deadly, however it's taste is horrendous. It's a simple enough procedure to extract a purer form of pedro using acid/alkali/non-polar solvent.

If you decide to dose, have some OJ or some citrus fruits handy. Neutralizes the bases in the San Pedro.

I'm not saying anything about the identification because I don't want to give you information that could be misinterpreted and lead to misidentification, although I will say that it is not very hard if you look at a bunch of different pictures of it..(lol is that like the worst thing I could have said considering my above concern? hmm aww well shit..)
I wouldn't put it in gellcaps for previously-stated reasons - its even harder on the tummy than just drinking some juice is.. It IS a giant pain in the ass to prepare properly and extract, BUT IT IS NOT HARD AT ALL.... just very time-consuming The juice tastes bad but its not as bad as like some gnarley whiskey or ayahausca or anything heh
You can find it at various garden stores - the San Pedro cactus is legal, AND IT SHOULD REMAIN THAT WAY because people like you use extreme caution in comsuming the substance contained within, and don't do anything stupid on it, RIGHT?! Keep it safe, dude, and let us know how it goes!

.... Peyote is endangered, San Pedro is extremely common, its a decorative cactus - it takes as little as a year to get a pretty decent size. I got a really potent cactus that was only about 3 years old, however the guy I got it from is an excellent cacti grower.
