incubator question

I currently have 14 1/2 pints in an incubator. I have them in a small sterilite tub inside of a larger one. In the bottom of the larger one, there is a towel for insulation, and under it all is a heating pad with towles wrapped around it for more insulation. The temp has stayed @ about 80F.
I flipped the jars upside down today, and noticed that some were warm to the touch.
Are the jars going to dry out this way?? Should I put H2O/H2O2 in the larger container for humidity.

My incubator constantly changes anywhere from 82 to 88 degrees.
Im not sure if this is a problem, but wherever the mycelium is growing strong on the sides and is really developing, the cake is shrinking. Where there is no mycelium yet, the cake is still out to the sides. I think this is ok. Is it?
