 Incubation Questions .. Worried

Ok well first off my strain is P.C. Thai. Koh Samui, using Ball 1/2 Pint Tapered Wide Mouth Jars to hold my cakes made with - Vermiculite and Rye Flour
Used two teks combined some ideas - MMGG v3.2 and http://www.shroomery.org/scgt/SCGTv0.5.html
Ok now I'll get to the point Im sort of worried with my incubator that I might of killed some jars due to the heat level in there...
My Incubator setup is as follows: Its located on my TV stand inside a drawer. Inside the draw I have on the bottom a heating pad, on top of that is a towel rather thin layered and on top of that towel is a second towel. Resting on top of the second towel is my jars. And on top of the jars is the fringe of the 1st towel - Rather big towel.
Ok so now heres my question last night around 3am I placed my jars inside their home. Now my heating pad has 3 settings =Low, Medium, and Hot=. I decided to put it on HOT since there was a layer of towel, and I thought that it wont get to hot. Well so I left everything going and checked to see if my jars were to hot this morning. So I touched some jars they were warm/hot but they werent TO WARM to the point where I couldnt hold them in my hand. So I decided to put it down a level... Medium so i checked on it again after about 30 mins turns out they remained the same temp. So now I put it on low and im hoping this is the correct setting, do you think I killed my jars=(?
And yes I know I should have a therm. so I woulnt have this question but Im going out to get one right today because now I know its fucking essential - im a newbie at this my 1st try=)
Last Q - I only used =two holes= for spore injection because I thought I was being clever since I thought the more holes the more chance of contam.. But now im aware this isnt true and that this could just slow down my process now I injected 1cc in almost every jar execpt 2 which had .5 cc injected, will this two hole injection affect things alot?
Thanks for any help you can give, sorry if this post is rambling im just worried heh.
And Id also like to say thanks to everyone here for your HELP because you all really do help if its not me posting a thread im reading other threads which provide help and thanks so much for well being great, because this pace is great=)

i think your jars will do well-
and for the 2 holes-i ran out of spores on my last batch-1 jar didnt have but 2 holes-they were a little slow,but now they ok-they are fruiting now-

thanks for the feedback bud glad to hear bout the 2 holes=)
how bout the pad - think I should leave it on low? or put it to medium? or even hot? until i get a therm.?
