Incubation is the time between innoculation and 100% colonization right? if so then what temp should i keep the jars at? is average room temp good? im gonna be buying a hygrometer today at work so i'll be able to tell you the exact temp of the room. And i almost forgot.. i have tinfoil over the jars right now.. the same tinfoil from sterilizing the jars.. should i loosen the tinfoil (because its pretty tight) for better air exchange? or should i just take the tinfoil right off, because i do have a verm layer maybe 1/2 inch to a whole inch. Substrate temperature needs to be 84-86 ?F. Keep the foil on the jars (they've got holes in them from innoc. right?). Good luck.

Mycellium will grow at any tempurature, but 86 degrees is desirable. An overall warm house tempurature is perfect.

Actually no, no holes.. i just brought the jars into my bathroom.. sprayed the entire room with lysol spray so i couldnt breath. and took off the tinfoil, innoculated really fast and put it back on.

You may find that near the end of the incubation the colonization will slow down. I did one of these tests in my current experiment and it took almost 5 days more for the jar with no holes poked in it to colonize. What ever suits you better!

Optikal - I recommend letting them have a little air. I wouldn't worry too much about airbourne contams if you've got a vermiculite layer and colinization is well underway. As Sr_Mush says it'll slow the growth down if they don't have air.
