Add a cap full of H202 to your water every little while.

Doesn't peroxide break down a high temp? If it does, then all im left with is water. What temp does it break down at? or is it light that breakes it down? ( I keep im incubator at 84%)

phake, do you mean keeping incubator at 84 degrees? anyways, yeah both heat and light are bad for it.. my bottle says to store cooler than 86 so looks like you're good anyways..

Alcohol would evaporate over time, no idea of effectiveness or fire hazard :) ; Peroxide would last longer, but would break down over time; Are you shooting for cutting down on contams in the incubator itself? Making jars less prone to contamination? If so, the problem wouldn't likely be in the incubator itself. Can you define the 'incubator' and what's in it?

For things like coolmist reservoirs or incubator jars [filled with water and a fish heater] can be made very contam resistant with a few tablespoons of normal table salt.
