i found these near my school near a tree and i dont know wut they are and i would apreciate some help in anyway

they are brown and hard. They are dried out and are wavy in the gills and wrinkjled on the cap. They are also dried out

they are dried out and they are dried out? nice description. did you even read the link to how to make a description? Those look like conocybes, potentially poisonous. do a little research. also, with a name like yours you won't be taken too seriously around her.

that's funny. the only thing in focus in any of these pictures is your norton internet security box. I feel pretty confident in my id on that one. :smile:
oh and I also feel pretty confident saying that if your intention is to consume these mushrooms for the purpose of inducing some sort of psychedelic experience (and judging by your chosen name "tripballs000" this might not be too far fetched), you would be ill advised to do so.  On general spec they do not appear to be anything "active" or for that matter anything you might want to risk eating for its culinary merits.
But this is just a guess.
And yes, please acquaint yourself with our procedures for receiving a reliable identification and in the future try posting at least one picture where the mushroom in question is in focus.

Whatever works.

Click this link and read the forum rules.  It has directions on how to request an I.D..  We're not trying to be sticklers; It's just that I.D.'ing a mushroom takes many things into consideration, and without some of us holding it in our hand it is very difficult.

No problem... just stick around and try and keep from being defensive.  This place seems to give people a good hazing before they get good and comfortable.  If you'll make sure to read the rules of each forum before posting you'll blend in much quicker.  There's not to much to read and they cover most 'noob' questions.  Who knows maybe you'll learn something, too. 

P.S.  have you been to OTD yet?  :grin:
