well, what i would do;
is pick the cubes (the cubes are still perfectly good)
and then get that tray out of your terranium, put it Outside, underneath the sun somewhere (UV rays), and just wait and see how many more cubes come up and harvest them. And just ignore the other stuff.

Do you have any high resolution photos of these mutants? This looks like Pic of the Month material for the GL/Pictures forum.

BTW, 2 different types of spores were used in the same container as my friend likes to do. He has never had contamination problems before. And all spores were bought from shroomery sponcers.

I think I was wrong about it being a coral, now that I got a closer look. Those apear to have caps. have any caps opened yet?
Am I mistaken or are they bruising blue?
How about picking one and posting a close up photo.

No blue, the dark spots are the spores from the B+.

Definitely not coral. Iv'e never seen anything like it, but they are so small I probably would not have noticed them anyway. Wait till a cap opens and take a spore print. You might have something of interest there.

Take a closer look, the caps are open. Way too small to make a print.

Yeah, looks like those caps are about the size of a drop of water. Do they have gills? (Use a magnifying glass and tweezers)
If you really want to know, you gotta get some prints; I think it can be done if your determined. Spore print color is essential for determining ID to genus.
Without an idea of which genus to start investigating we really can't move forward with an ID.
