Rating Retaliation

Who should I talk to about a user abusing the rating system (eg; retaliating by leaving "trade" feedback despite no trades taking place, using duplicate accounts to leave negative feedback, etc.)?

I tried reasoning with gutmaggot...about leaving a false Trade Rating on you.

We went back in forth in pm's for over an hour on the matter.

Then he lied to me and changed your Trade Rating he left for you...
to make it look like he wasn't doing it to hurt your rating for personal reasons.

I see that gutmaggot has a puppet now that has left you a bad General Rating.

The puppet is...MushHeadFungus

I have banned gutmaggot for several days...
and I have now banned his puppet permanently!~

I ask the Admin to deal with gutmaggot...and delete all the bad rating this user has left for you.
And the Admin can decide whether to perma ban him.

I have no doubt that the bad ratings are due to a personal disagreement(arguement) that took place on the board...and that gutmaggot is using the Rating system to try and hurt you!~

Oh, hey Roadkill. Thanks for talking to him. Sorry it was such a pain in the ass.

I don't mind the initial 1-shroom rating, it's the trade rating and the dummy account that cheeses me off.

He also implied that I threatened him. I replied back and explained very clearly that I had no threat in mind and I was simply telling him that pissing off people in a community like this is generally unwise.

I can't tell if you're saying that you asked the Admins to deal with gut or if you're saying I should go ahead and fill out a ticket.

Again, thanks for your help on this matter. I don't mean to be a whiny bitch about this, I just take my rating fairly seriously.

For false trade ratings, create a support ticket with details of the issue.  Leaving a false trade rating will annoy that admin and is a bannable offense.  If you get a nasty general rating, oh well, life is like hard and stuff, so get over it.  :wink:
