Any one here ever hunt in San Francisco?
I would like to hunt there for actives, can somebody list the actives i could find there please.
Also, if you ever have been to the bay area for hunting shrooms, can you tell me about your finds in the bay area. :hook:

sigh... search it. but the main active you'll find are cyans. there are others but thats all i've ever found there

ya, cyan's are what i would expect. But i can find nothing on SF, CA.

This time of year you are basically limited to growing your own or looking in well watered / fertilized lawns for Panaeolus subbalteatus and they aren't too be found as of late. Not by me at least.

You can also find p stunzii and p cyanofibrilosa - in parks and disturbed settings in woody soils.
avoid spending too much time looking in red bark mulch.(cedar especially). Look in the fall for these and winter for cyanescens.
Outside the city - near pastures... look for liberty caps. (semileceata.)
