ok ...im about to do a G2G transfer in a still air glovebox..my glove box is pretty standard, air tight sealed with chaulk that i put on about an hour ago... I dont have any lysol or oust but i was wondering if any of these items would work instead Clorox-cleanup (cleaner with bleach) 409-antibacterial kitchen -lemon fresh hydrogen peroxide -U.S.P.3% and Isopropyl alchohol 70% U.S.P.
i was gonna wipe down the inside with either the peroxide or the Isopropyl ..any suggestions on which one i should use for the wipe down? and will any of those 4 work for spraying the air inside the box?

i'm with hippiechick on this one. hydrogen peroxide is better on surface areas because any organic matter on the surface breaks down the h2o2 slower yet it overwelms the organic matter, as oppose to putting it on your hand or some sort of liveing matter it still gets broken down but at a much higher rate and is less effective.
Iso alcohol doesn't break down until it evaporates and kills everything in it's way.

I like to wipe my whole box down with alcohol before I use it and I never get contams. Also if you are inserting your hads through cut out holes; make sure to clean your hands/gloves with alcohol that will be entering your chamber. You should be all good!

I wipe my glovebox with a sponge soaked with plain water before use. Unless you plan to dump your grains out on the bottom of your glovebox(which nobody does), there is no reason to consider the inside needs to be sterile. A glovebox is to provide a still air environment, nothing else. RR
