That kit is not worth 275.00, I don't understand why people try and take advantage of newbees. I would like to see the shroomery stay spam free but it seems you have turned it in to your own product market place.

It's not $275, it's only $50.

I'm confused. Is this 4' synthetic filter used on the blove box different from the filter disks used on jars? I believe that those are 70mm(approx. 2.75') Is there a discrepancy here or is there a larger filter I don't know about.

you don't really have to use a glove box. its too much work, not only to build, but also to work with. I have had a lot better results, and a lot easier time just using the oven on the lowest setting...has anyone used the oven when working with agar???

pin: yeah i use the oven for agar! i have used it twice now (once to innoculate and once for a transfer). seemed to have worked well. there was some bacteria that developed after a week and a half but thats it. no molds or anything vicious. i recommend it over a glovebox. -daniel.
