Will this FC work? PIC!

I just finished modifying my FC. After cleaning all the perlite out of the bottom I never want to use that stuff again. And since Im no longer working with cakes I dont need 100% RH. Basically, what Ive done is took the same large rubbermaid I had been using, put in some old coffee mugs and laid a wire shelf on top of them. Below the wire shelf will be 3-4 inches of water, with a submersible heater (like used in a TiT) set to 75. (My grow room is only about 60 degrees, and I used to use a little electric heater but that sent the power bill THROUGH THE ROOF) Also submersed in the water will be 2 bubblewands for FAE. Im going to add H2O2 to the water to prevent contams. And since I'm using bulk substrate I think the warm water below the casings will provide adequate Humidity. What do you guys think? Heres a pic (I just through this thing together), its not quite up and running yet.

And heres a recent pic of my bulk grow: These were both done at the same time so Im not sure why the left is doing so much better? Ive got 2 of the small ones, and the other small one looks the same, barely any myc. poking through.

that looks good to me. you could always use geolite instead of perlite. There lttle clay balls, supposed to be much less messy than perlite, with the same effect. of course this is all based off of research, im still building my chamber =D

The whole reason the water is there is for the heater. My grow room stays around 60.

Is the water in the bottom going to harbor contams??? Should I just use another TiT just like my incubator, but set it to 75??

you could probably even still use the air wands in there with no water. it would still give you FAE. you dont need water for those, only for humidity.

I'm by no means a pro, but I see nothing wrong with your setup.
If standing water was such a problem with contams, I reckon the PMP and any bubble-cup setup wouldn't exist. Throw some H2O2 in there and you'll be fine - - especially since you're doing casings. IMO it would be nice to maintain ideal temps instead of messing around in the cold being paranoid about contams. Plus you already have everything set up, and the wands will provide good humidity for the casings.
Nice tip, HC, on the "steel" wool idea - - what exactly do they call that stuff?

for heat... try a heat lamp. if you get one that's not red, you can use it as you light, and your heat.
the change in cold/hot doesn't effect them much, they actuall thrive on this... thinking it's nature
