What's the fastest you have ever seen Myc growth start in a jar under optimum conditions?

multi-spore inoculation...couple days.

or a liquid culture inoculation...within 24 hours.

or a G2G transfer...within 24 hours.

or a wedge of agar...within 24 hours.

The reason why I ask is that I am trying not to be pulling jars to look at them before a certain amount of time. I figure I'll give it a week and look again.

i used an lc to innoc wbs and there was nothing for 2 days. then BAM like 50% was colonized overnight

That's the best way to do it. It's better to see alot of growth in one shot, rather then to check everyday and only see a little at a time. You'll drive yourself crazy like that. Resist the temptation!
