Remove contaminated jars from incubator or not?
    #681331 - 06/16/02 04:06 AM (22 years, 5 months ago)

I've got 7 jars in my incubator. I've used the traditional PF tek (top layer of verm on all jars, 4 holes per lid and lids are tight). It's been 4 days since the inncoulation, and I now have mycellium growth on all jars. However, one jar looks like it might be contaminated with black spots in the mycellium. I want to leave this one jar alone to see if it is in fact a contam, but do I risk contaminated the other jars? I'm guessing I wouldn't, but I'd rather hear from the experts.

Thanks!

I?d separate it from the other jars and dump it as soon you?re sure it?s contamination.

are you sure it's not the spores? keep them around to see. hell. if the contamination isn't bad, you can attempt to save it, but thats not the best idea. only do if its your last hope for anything
