My polyfill gets totally soaked whether I'm making spawn jars or LC. But it's not a problem, because adding a coffee filter to your jar later on helps to remove this excess moisture from the polyfill by absorption.

Wet polyfill is not 1/100th of the issue people make it out to be, I'd say don't worry about it. I can't remember the last contam I've had, and every single one of my projects involves soaking wet polyfill in one form or another.

If the jar is removed from the PC HOT.

Any polyfil should dry out in a few moments, or a minute.

If covered with coffee filters, that adds an upper layer of protection, that also dries out in a minute or 2.

If you are anal, remove jars hot, then mist/spray on some alc, or Lysol over the coffee filters.

Which, will kill any mold spores landing on them, while they dry out in a minute or 2.
