How much poo per 25 quart tub?

How many pounds would be ideal for a regular 25 quart tub? 5 pounds? And also, how many quart jars would be ideal to spawn into the tub?

WBS is best for spawning correct?

you want 6-8" of substraight no matter how many gallon's the tub is that your useing.

So how many pounds of poo would that calculate too in a 25 quart tub? I need to get an estimate before i buy, dont want to buy too much or too litte.

i have never weighed shit befor it seems very heavy when wet. I would am sure better answers will pop up soon. I would think that 20lb should be enough. But I never orderd any thing. Here they sell the bags in 25lb bags in the store and that would be good enough. I mean as long as you have at least 3-4" you should be good. But i like thicker shit bricks. 40lb would do the job for sure maby a little extra. If you have extra get a 5gall bucket with a lid and fill that up with some shit and spawn those make great small shit bricks.

Well lets say i buy pre-pasteurized Horse/Straw from Tenn Studd. Would 10 lbs be too little for two 25 quart tubs? Anyone with Poo weigh experience..?

Oh and how many quart jars should i spawn into each tub?

4-6 qts will do the the job as far as spawn.

Man 6-8" of susbtrate. That is one hell of a deep substrate. I use 10lbs of tennstud in a 66qt tub and it give me a depth of 5.5" I believe that is plenty of depth.

It is very easy to do the math yourself to see how deep of a substrate you will have. YOu need to do the calculations so that way you know where to put your holes in your monotub. That is if you are doing a monotub.

But I think that 5lbs would be plenty for the tub that you have. Goodluck man and Peace Out~

oh this whole time i thought that he ment 25gal tub not 25qt tub. I dont think I have ever seen a tub that small befor. I try to get at least 6" deep substraight but I just eye ball it so it ends up being a bit more.
