Quart jars- Ok to sit for 24hrs before press.cook?

I made my jars according to the "quart jars for retards TEK" at MM. But i made them a day early! i figure this might be a good idea as it would give nasty little contams spores a chance to germ and then blast em' wit da heat!! but is 24hrs to long? i thought it was possible that the germs might get mature enough to release their toxins into the grain, hinderin the mushy's ability to take hold.
I need to know quick cause i gotta decide whether or not to use those jars today!!!

I dont think you will have a problem. I have waited for 12 hours and had no problems.
