The Official Skron Thread

Some of you may remember a post a few days ago titled "her is the poor man's terrarium" by Skron. Skron was apparently told that by putting a rice cake on a wet napkin, in a 2-litre bottle, it will produce mushrooms. Well since then i've received a few PM's from him and have seen several more posts by him, asking questions that can easily be answered in the FAQ section, or by reading teks, grow logs, etc.

I've decided to make an official Skron thread; id rather see one thread than 100. Lets see if we can help Skron grow mushrooms, or atleast 1. I'll help him out with some questions, if you will too.

Yeah, I don't know if this thread is appropriate or well natured.

Skron - since you live in california, you are going to have to find a way to get "supplies" that you need first.

once you do that, read all of the teks/faqs and then you will find help. Until then, please refrain from posting a bunch of threads on the same subject matter....they will only get locked.

Hey but no offense Skron im not laughing at you but rather at the actual situation. Things never come out right when not researched properly, you should see the stuff my friend did on his first grow, did everything backwards. Im in the process of my firsdt grow ever just like you Skron, but ive been reading almost everyday for the past month on Shroomery.org. Just read as much as you can.

but showing that pic might lead newbs to believe you can actually grow off rice cakes. NO YOU CAN'T....LOL

but you can make your own "cakes" out of brown rice flour.

I don't like this thread one bit. I feel that we are making fun of Skron, not helping him. In the future, please do not call anyone out in the open like this. It's demeaning and could be construed as flaming. I'm not saying that's what this is, but there is a fine line here.

Skron, I think you need to spend some serious time reading this website. Many folks here don't even post a single question until their grow is already under way or they find a sticking point. You have to help yourself before others can help you. We are all here in support of each other, but we have to know that you're serious about learning. No one is going to hold your hand.

I hope you understand.

I'm going to lock this thread.
