Sounds like you have a cheap hygrometer. Cheap higrometers have trouble reading humidity above 80% or so. When they get a high humidity they just say Hi. If droplets are forming then the humidity should be fine.

Drop the temp down to 74-76F. that will lower RH as well. Don't worry they're not dead  Cakes love high humidity!

Yeah man, I got a cheepie electric one too. It changes to EE repeatedly so I have to fan out the air and wait a bit to get a decent reading. Hopefully once I get my air pump and stone in it'll fix it up.

If you dont like my fire, then dont come around, cause' I'm gonna burn one down.

Oh yea, and don't use a cigar humidor hygrometer. Maybe that's obvious. Like a real and proper noob, I ordered one because it seemed cheap at $10 (for a piece of equipment that is optional anyways). - Then I get it, and it only measures RH between 40-70%! (Though the dial goes from 0-100%, just to taunt us)

<--- 1st grow; will wait to see how it goes, then consider getting a nice one.
