"Psilocybe McKennaii"- just another relabelled cube? is it strong?

Dutch growers may be familiar with a strain called McKennaii, no doubt named after Terrence McKenna. Is it just another relabelled cube? I presume it is, or some type of pans. I saw them in amsterdam but in my haze (from smoking haze) I cannot remember exactly what they looked like, and my ID skills are poor. They sell them near me for ?23 for 20g, while normal cubes are ?18.
I was thinking of cloning some and getting them out there in circulation. I know there is no such species called that.

In amsterdam they are only legal fresh although I found a few places selling dried openly. I was thinking of just offering ?5 for a little bit of stem, a few threads mention them here, a Irish guy in a UK forum said they were very strong. I heard some other bullshit about them being a triple hybrid, another saying an azure/cube hybrid too.

When I heard of them in holland I thought it was PE which is very much linked to McKenna.

This maybe more suited to a non-cultivation forum to find if it is strong or not, since people who buy them are generally not growing, and vice versa.

Psilocybe Mc Kennaii has nothing to do with Terrence Mc Kenna. It was created by someone called Mc Kennaii. I have never tried them myself. About potency I heard everything from very potent to nearly any effect at all.

That sounds like the samn old crap when some asshole started calling some Cubensis strain Blue Meanies which pissed the old school growers off ...Its probably an EQ or a B+ strain

I read it in a forum. Don?t remember which.Since Terrence Mc Kenna is dead for a while it makes sense to me. Like Yosterizii from Dr. Yoster.

The only strain of cube that I can remember Terrence McKenna promoting was on his Syzygy site. And that was quite some years (perhaps 15?) ago. The only name I ever heard associated with that strain was "Syzygy", at least that's what is on the prints that I have :smile:
