Oversleeping
    #5017539 -

How often does it happen to you?

This is my second time in a week my boss calls me up two minutes after I'm supposed to be at work. And boy was he pissed. Hey.. it's not my fault if BOTH of my alarm clocks don't go off.. (WTF is going on I think it's a conspiracy) And why don't bosses look at the ten million times you were on time and rediculously early when you didn't need to be instead of the couple of times you were ten minutes late when it didn't matter?

Murphy's Law? Or something better?

And holy fuck it's snowing right now.

Its that fucking AM/PM switch on your alarms.

Seriously, I put a piece of tape over that fucker years ago after it caused me many days of misery and despair...

AM/PM switches should be illegal....

As should the "snooze" and "sleep" buttons.
I hit those in my sleep all the time and don't know it.
My alarm clock is on the other side of the room too.
So I have to get out of my bed to hit the snooze or sleep button.
Still do it in my sleep, still have no memory of hitting it.

I totally agree madtown. Fuck those switches. We should start a petition to stop makers of alarm clocks from putting on AM/PM switches.

You need one of those alarm clocks that roll off your desk and hide somewhere so you have to go find it and turn it off.

I never oversleep. My body automatically wakes me up around the time (usually earlier) I normally get up for class. I guess I'm lucky.

My ex girlfriend used to to complain about the alarm clock no going off. But in reality it actually did go off, she would get out of bed, turn it off, and go right back to bed. Later when she actually did get up she would complain about the damn thing being broken and have no memory of turning it off.

That's my problem. It's a real problem.
The alarm clock could be outside for all it matters.. I would still get up and turn it off and go back to sleep and have absolutely no memory of it when I wake up.
But two alarm clocks? How does my sleeping self manage to turn off two alarm clocks while asleep and have no memory of it? I got an extra alarm clock so shit like this wouldn't happen...

The buzzer on my alarm clock sounds at 110 db. So, I never oversleep.

I always set my alarm to get up at 7, but when it does go off, I think 'Ah I might as well have another hour'. Then I'm late.
