Green Sage
AngelEyes
They are low-quality mp3's (in order to cater for widest possibel audience) Just hop along here to get the High(er) quality OGG's.
And feedback is appreciated of course, that is the reason for this post after all.

GREAT GREAT music! Wow. I love both songs. Angeleyes' cuts are excellent all the way through and how at the start the music almost mocks the mans voice. The trumpet compositin with the piano sparatic sound is fantastic.
As for Green Sage the vivid unreal quality of it is what I like. It kind of gives me the feeling of a dream state. Like Beethoven is hiding in my head playing, and he is trying to tell me something but I just cant quite grasp what he is saying. Anyway mabey i'm weird and think I am a nut. I also have composed some music, it is a few pages back. Most of the riffs arent written by me, because I used the Mtv music generator. I am in the process of writing my own though finally. Anyway good luck with the music and you should keep with it, you're very talented. Btw what did you use to write these, were they programs or did you just sample them into a keyboard or something?

Thank you, thank you very much indeed. This warms my heart
I'm using Logic Audio and samples. For these two anyway. If your'e coming from MTV music generator I suggest you look into something a bit mor easy than Logic, but still something that doesn't generate your music for you. Try Acid Pro 3, FruityLoops 3 or Orion 2.5 for example.

I ran this through my main speakers and it sounds sweet. I'd say I like the first more just for the darker instruments. You say you're using eMagic's Logic.. I had some questions. For the piano, do you play and record the midi or audio and mix the results? Or do you type out the whole song in midi and play it back?
If you play it, how long have you been playing piano?
And any advice on how to get Logic without shelling out $200-$500? And is there any difference between the silver/gold/platinum versions besides the number of channels

There's a difference yes, the better versions have more advanced functions available, but I don't know the specifics. MicroLogic AV goes for abt. $80 I think. Or you could look around and see if you find a demo on a magazine. If all else fails (especially your wallet) then I believe Zone has cracked versions of 4.7 and 4.81 going around. But that, *ahem*, is of course illegal. (it's around 15MB and can be found on most filesharing networks. It's always the platinum version )
I don't play the piano (or any other instrument), I just sampled a jazz piece . Used the internal EXS24 Sampler that comes with logic for these two songs. The procedure for the beats and piano are the same: Chop them up in Recycle and export as soundfonts, then import into the sampler in Logic and just play around with it in the matrix editor untill it sounds alright.
What kind of music do you make? And what do you use?

hotline sucks IMHO, uless you have an older version of the software. You always have to upload while downloading and all the fast servers are member only servers. no offence TeRz

I do have an older version of hotline, and most servers do suck , but when you find a good one it is well worth it. I never upload anything.

OGG: Nanny Ogg, witch in the Discworld novels and oh, I see, well, it's another fileformat, similiar to mp3, only better (supposedly), you can get the OGG plugin for winamphere
And the higher quality versions are to be found here
And thank very much for your interest!
You should all get Direct Connect at www.neo-modus.com, it's *the* best when searching for warez imho.
