i'm going to have to say i look for the long term thing. i always think to myslef how that person would be in the next few years. if she has goals and is someone who plans then its ok with me. but if she sits around and smokes pot all day and only worries about the "now" then thats just not for me

long term makes me thinking about a house outside the city, two kids and a honda civic, so I have to stick with the way I chosee years ago, having fun but nothing serious, I already had a long term one and dont want more

To me long term just means, not imagining any ending, just wanting to run with it.

Depends on the girl and the circumstances. Since I'm on my last semester at college, it'd be kind of unrealistic to start a long-term relationship with anyone on campus(though I'd love to be proven wrong). But after that, when I find a job and get my own place, I'm in it for the long term.

i tend to just look for one night stands and shit, seeing how im in college. that being said, i always keep my eye open for something a bit longer term

I don't avoid long term it's what I really want actually.  I just know how creepy that can be if it's not a shared thing.  I start out lookin for a fling If it works I don't keep her around.  If she doesn't put out I'll pursue if she's interesting. 

If I go on a date with a girl and she tells me "I'm lookin for a long term relationship"  that would scare me off.  I don't want to get myself into something I can't get out of.

I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone else but...  :shrug:
