The way that I see amanita's is:
"Hey, let's poison ourselves to delerium and call it a trip!"
In european countries that I've been to they're just considered poisonous.
Some people like 'em, however, but I won't try them...that means that I probably shouldn't knock 'em down either...oh well :)

The guys from Led Zepp in particular Robert Plant who was heavily into Viking shite, was really into Amanitas as there is significant evidence that these mushrooms were used as to supplement the state of the 'beserka'

OK, back again, amanita is a definate thing to do one time, but it's like DMT or LSA, you either like it or hate it, but yes I would say for an experience it's one to chalk up.........

hi bud! i'll let you know of my wookie friends experience with A. muscaria. once he picked some because he thought it would be a waste of entheogenic material to let them die, so he dried them in the oven (like the teks on the net say). a friend of him came by and on a sudden whim said 'what if we put some amanita on the joint?' thinking that nothing or little would happen, my wookie friend put a couple knifepointfuls of dried amanita with the weed and then he lit. he think he's got all the amanita bcs his friend didnt have near his effects. he went drowsy and dizzy, laid down and then jumped to the window to puke his stomach off, it seems he had a bad time struggling not to drown with his own puke. he said that by this time he was hallucinating hard, he thought he would fall down along with his vomit... afterthat he felt real nice, laid down and went into some kind of trance (yeah, total loss of contact with reality), he said he saw things that couldnt be said... and he said he liked it, but the puke part.
