substrate question...

I'm looking for the "best" substrate to use. It's been awhile and I had decent success with the brown rice but I had even better luck with the Oatmeal substrate. Where might I find some info on variuos types of substrate?

Any help is greatly appreciated. "-)

Move onto whole grains: bird seeds and rye. Look into geting some Quart jars and follow the Quart Jars For Dummies tek. Ofcourse, this will REQUIRE a pressure cooker.

thanks for the reply Phrozendata, I was definetely going to case the little beauties. I did the cake thing a few years ago and am ready for some quantity fruit. Finch seed will be the way I think I'll go. 17Qt. Pressure cooker is on the way...
