This mushroom was in the corner of my eye when i was driving by so i thought id stop by... to check it out. When i got up to it, it had a strong resemblence to Psilocybe Cubensis, but it was growing in grass. Here it is

the other pics wont load up and ill get the full description up in a few. i also took a sporeprint but it wouldnt show on the camera

yes, it's a mushroom

A good picture of the mushrooms is invaluable, but not required.
Along with the pictures YOU ARE REQUIRED to provide the following data:

* Habitat (where [woods, pasture, state,province,country, altitude] and what [soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?)] does it grow on)
* Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
* Characteristics of the stem (length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
* Characteristics of the cap (diameter,color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
* Spore print color (very important!)
* Color that the mushroom bruises
* Scent of the mushroom
* Anything else you might find important

Just looking at those photos I'll bet that the spore print is a dark chocolate brown, not black. That mushroom looks like an Agaricus, the genus the common store mushroom comes from.

Happy mushrooming!

to take a spore print put the mushroom cap on a piece of white paper and cover it
with a bowl or a cup and allow it to sit for 3-4 hours, you may want to also use
black paper for it as well, white spore wouldnt show up on white paper very well

It could be that the mushroom is just too dry and old. As time passes and they dry, they don't drop as many spores. I have to agree on agaricus for that one.
